Hi! I'm Dorothy. 

When I began playing the harp 20 years ago, I never imagined where it would take me. What started as a fascination with its delicate, resonant tones has grown into a lifelong journey that’s allowed me to share music in ways I could never have dreamed - pinch me!

I’ve had the privilege of performing with orchestras and at festivals across the United Kingdom, Italy, the Czech Republic, Sweden, and Asia. In 2021, I was honored to receive the Absolute First Prize at the UK International Music Competition in the Contemporary Music Category. My versatility has also led to collaborations with renowned names such as Netflix, Rolex, and The Lanesborough, where I’ve learned how music can elevate and complement diverse mediums.

Beyond live performances, I’ve recorded music for television and special events, including an Italian drama series with Digital Records Italy. As a resident harpist at venues like The Capital Hotel London, University Arms Hotel Cambridge, and the Shangri-La Hotel, I’ve found immense joy in connecting with intimate audiences.

For over a decade, my greatest passion has been working with couples to create bespoke performances for their weddings - crafting music that feels personal and authentic for their special day. I am honored to be a recommended musician at venues such as The Fitzrovia Chapel London, The Great Barn Harrow, and The Knebworth Barn. Recently, I was recognized as one of Encore’s “Top Ten Booked Musicians” in 2023 and received the Hitched Wedding Award in 2024.

Specialising in harp performance, I earned my music degree from the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague, Czech Republic and Licentiate (LTCL) from Trinity College London. My diverse repertoire includes classical masterpieces, folk traditions, Bollywood favorites, popular songs, film scores, Irish, Jewish and Asian music.

♡ My husband proposed to me right after my graduation concert and we had a cozy, intimate wedding at a charming vintage café
♡ The best part of wedding planning? Definitely trying on wedding dresses!
